The Southeast Nebraska Development District (SENDD) is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to assist in the development of a regional planning document focused on water and wastewater infrastructure across a 15-county region in Southeast Nebraska. This effort is part of the “6 Regions, One Nebraska” initiative, funded through the Nebraska Department of Economic Development using State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF).
The selected consultant will support data analysis, planning, and stakeholder engagement activities to assess existing water/wastewater infrastructure and produce a final plan identifying actionable strategies for system improvements, regional collaboration, funding opportunities, and workforce development.
